I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
HI Benaiah, I never knew that Captain Cook discovered Niue! That's a beautiful background you've used. How might you adapt the fact bubbles s that your five facts stand out?
I like the way you have presented your facts on this beautiful picture, and the bubbles really stand out too. I wonder why you were writing facts about Niue, did you read a book or do an activity in class? The rainbow colours are cool but it can make it a little hard to see the words you have written. Maybe next time you could choose a different background for your speech bubbles and write a few more facts. I don't know much about Niue so I'd love to know more. Miss Harris :-)
Fakalofa lahi atu Benaiah. I am glad to see you recently learned about Niue when we celebrated Niuean Language Week. Did you see on Te Rōpū Whakamanawa's blog that we have a slide that has lots of information about Niue? Miss Johnstone may have shared this with you. Just remember to use a capital letter when you are writing the name of countries and places.
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or Ask a question you want to know more about
