today in class we had to do a google drawing about doing your best we had to fill boxes to say how you know you are doing your best. here is my work  hope you like it

on Monday we started a google drawing about being on time on one side it is how other people will react and on the other side is the opposite here is my work

on Monday I had to fill my bucket we did this by writing six things that I am good at or strong at here is what I did

This term we did dancing like the stars for 8 weeks and danced on the 9th week we were last to dance so we got to see all the other dances it was really fun I would do it again.

hey, guy today we did the 2020 student summit for two blocks of school so we had to have an early morning tea but not lunch. we had to join google meets and we had to do some activates and all my activates were so fun but some times we could not hear so we had to leave and join.this is what happened at the summit  bye

The poetic devices in the poem are four things of personification and two similes

I think the meaning of the poem is it’s always good to have a friend

 The connection I made with the title was me at school and none of my friends were there.

The poem is organized in four stanzas and they have six lines.

The tone of the poem made me feel happy because he knew he wasn’t alone.

The poetic devices are one hyperbole and it is a host of golden daffodils two things of personification and one of them is I wandered lonely as a cloud. 

I think the meaning of the poem is you are never alone even if you think you are.

Art: I thought our Tapa Art unit was interesting because we learned how to create something from a different culture

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our art unit, I would give myself a 10/10

In our Tapa Art unit, I learned:

1)what different designs mean

2)that they beat the cloth

3)how to make the cloth

Inquiry: I thought our Social Science unit about inventions throughout time was interesting because we saw some stuff from victorian times

If I rate myself out of 10 for how well I participated in our Inquiry unit, I would give myself a 10/10

In our innovations unit, I learned:

1)seeing victorian stuff next to newer stuff

2)seeing the victorian house

3)rich kids got to go to school

 we have been doing this thing called tapa cloths we grabbed a brown bit off the paper and vivid and we drew a design with pencil first and then when we finished we when over it with vivid and then we died it. we have learned that tapa made of a tree or plant.

today we did some work about Matariki and we had to make a slide and you could work with some friends and calibrate together I created it with my friends Addison, Brodie, Jason, Nikau, Ethan, and myself and the author hope you like it.

our weekly value

Being Conscious of the World Around Us

This week our value is Being Conscious of the World Around Us.  This means showing awareness and empathy for what might be going on for other people and changing the way we act to be supportive of this.  

In Whakamanawa, we created a Wrinkled Heart Google Drawing to list the things that are said or done to us that make us feel down and blue.  We then wrote things that make us feel positive and fill our hearts with good feelings.

Learning From Our Mistakes

Writing MindMups

Being a Courteous Writer

Today we learned how to create a MindMup so we could identify and remember the things we need to do when writing so we are showing courtesy to our audience. For many of us, creating a MindMup was a new experience.  This is what we co-created.

Our next step is to use MindMup for organising our ideas in different subject areas.
